Day One: Philadelphia to Los Angeles

Let me start by recommending our outstanding shuttle service: Lize & Bethany Limousine - they were prompt, courteous, and kept us alert with frequent wanderings onto the rumble strip... thank you girls. Our trip to Los Angeles was very uneventful... right up until our wonderful sister-in-law, Oli, who is due in April with their second child, picked us up and proceeded to give us the insider's tour of LA. It was the best tour you have never heard of... Right as things really got going we picked up our brother Jon, who wasted no time in whisking us to the Serra Retreat Center, at the top of a beautiful ridge in Malibu overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We ended the awarded winning tour with a fantastic dinner with our Cousin Adam, and his wife Noelle at a great locals place called Paradise Cove... Tomorrow (Jan 8th) we board our eighteen hour flight to manila!!!
