Well, here we are! We are sitting in the Lobby of the Taiwan Intl. Airport, but have yet to set foot on Taiwanese soil. We are preparing for a luxurious night in the Miramar Golf Country Club (its actually just a transit hotel, but with a name like that it has to be good). We are exactly 12 hours ahead of PA time but so far are feeling pretty good. We are now about 36 hours into our trip, and i am reminded what a crucible a trip with your spouse is. Suddenly everything that you hold on to that is comfortable and familiar is gone, and the only thing left is the person you love, and we naturally make themthe target of all our emotions, both good and bad, and i would not trade it for the world. This trip thus far as been wonderful, and we are feeling very fortunate to have the opportunities that we do.
